Cleartype !!

Learnt a very simple thing from "Gadget Guru" today.

There is an option called "Cleartype" in the Display properties of your desktop. Once you enable this option the display becomes clearer, the edges sharper. Really nice !! They said that this change is more visible in Flat screen/LCD monitors. I will check the truth of this, once I get back to office.

Ok.
1. Gadget Guru is a show on some channel, I think NDTV profit. Not sure.
2. Go to Display properties (Either from control panel or by right clicking on ur desktop ) Go to Appearance --> Effects --> There you will find "Use the following method to smooth the edges of screen fonts". Your common sense will take you forward from there :D

But this didn't seem to work in my office PC. After selecting Cleartype, the edges became sorta unclear. But as I had pointed out- "They said that this change is more visible in Flat screen/LCD monitors", so may be thats the reason.
